Forget-me-not wallet

I made this for a mummy of an angel - a group I'm in are doing secret Santa!
I've put a rainbow on the back and white and pink feathers in each pocket, as symbols of her little one.
It has card pockets and money slots, as well as a coin zip on the back (though the coin purse bit is really dinky!!)
I'm going to be making one in similar fabric, with turquoise background, for myself too!

More busy-ness for business!

Little hand-sewn cuties - stocking fillers!
Drawstring Christmas bags
And I LOVE this! An oilcloth, padded, lined tote - so amazing!
Just needs a good iron (carefully!)
 I think it's just beautiful!
Thanks to Poppyseed fabrics for a great tutorial - I was able to adapt it for the oilcloth and make the pattern bigger too!

Handbags and other stuff...

More bits and bobs - I adore these cute handbags!

And these little bow pouches are so fab - just the right size for a Kindle or E-reader!

Finally, made a little craft roll that fits a pad of paper as well as some crayons and colouring pencils!

Girly party bags

These are very quick and easy to do - approx 1/2 hour each if your machine doesn't keep breaking, literally, into pieces! Gonna make 3 more of these - one with the pink spot as main colour, a blue dotty one and a bright stripy one.

Very cute little bags...

Pyramid purses - Christmas is coming!

Honestly, the angst I experienced making these little Christmas beauties was ridiculous - and guess why?! Yes, the bloomin' sewing machine! It's so weak! Went through 3 needles today! So I only managed a feeble 3 purses today, which isn't enough at all. Can't bear the thought of doing more of them tomorrow!!

New bits for the shop...

So, I've been on a bit of a making spree during these half term holidays! I was told people at the shop were asking for purses and smaller bags. And what with another, second, shop opening on Monday, I got busy....

Purses:

Bags - all reversible, various handle styles and sizes but all basically a small book bag / shoulder bag!

(That all need ironing before I take them to the shop!!)

All together now!

forgot to photo the lining - it's cute too!

Knot bag

Dotty lining

Today's efforts:

Extendable tote - format 2 - it's HUGE!

Book bag with pockets

Inside of book bag

Cute little wooden button heart

Am really pleased with everything so far - just wish I could make things a little quicker than I currently do!

Cute little nightmare purse.......

I bought a few purse frames back before Christmas....... you saw my Christmas clutch post here hopefully!

So this is my second attempt. 'Nightmare' for the following reasons:

1. I started it as a Christmas present for a friend but it just got too fiddly. I think I made the seams too tight so it wouldn't stretch to fit the frame! Also, I never leave the glue for the required 5 minutes to go tacky so it goes everywhere!

2. I gave up and gave my friend a different present! Besides, the frame was now covered in glue and a right mess!

3. I decided that, as it is my friend's birthday today, I'd have another go at finishing it off! I had to cut off the old glue and re-hem the edges before re-attempting the glue process. I left the glue for the required 5 minutes and it was a lot easier.

4.  Managed to get the fabric into the frame and then spent about 20 minutes picking the messy glue off the frame and fabric from the last time I tried!

FINALLY got the finished product anyway - hopefully my friend will like it!

Total time on this diddy purse - about 4 hours!!! Crazy!
